Does anybody know why this lovely looking 5* hotel which was recommended to me last year in the thread "Looking for another place as lovely as Kyrenia" has disappeared from agents' booking systems although it's in some brochures?

I tried first of all at Alpharooms where we got a good price last year but illness stopped us from getting abroad at all so we didn't book. This year there is no availability anytime, anywhere.

Anatolian Sky, Thomas Cook Select, Olympic Holidays and First Choice Premier all have it in the 2008 brochures but no travel agent has yet managed to get us a room on any date next year. The First Choice girl did get a price on the phone from Sovereign but it was well over a grand each on a bad flight time (a Thomas Cook flight) from Glasgow. Much bigger price than the rest, even more than Anatolian Sky who are usually costlier than most!

None of the agents could tell me what was happening or why it was on the "stop sell list" as the Thomas Cook staff found out.

Has it had big problems or is it closing for building work or what?
