If your ok with staying round pool and doing Thomson trips it's a good hotel but outside there is very little to do a few restaurants but very little else.
Do not try the Italian. Not great and far too salty

Everywhere tended to be very clean. There was quite al ot to do, there was a funfair near Mcdonalds, lots of bars and restaurants. I highly recommend that you visit Happy Jacks opposite Hotel Atlantica. Cheap cocktails and they always have a cocktail of the night for 1 Cyprian pound! Great friendly atmosphere, karaoke every night and nobody cares if you can't sing!

Also the Nags head (which is next to Happy Jacks) is one to go to. Especially in the daytime as they serve great meals (Cyprian and English) and always play classic Only Fools and Horses episodes every day. Again, friendly staff.

The beach was mostly grit but a 10 minute walk down the main road got us to a great part of the beach which was more sandy with warm, clear water. Was also very quiet but cost to hire a sunbed (about 1 cyprian pound).

There were some good little tat shops with great gifts to take home, I even bought myself a nice watch!

The hotel is located away from the town but close enough to walk but localy there is an excellent array of shops bars and restaurants to cater for all tastes.

The main road is rather busy tho so care is needed when crossing but this truly is the only drawback.

We are in our early 50's but we are usualy here with friends and family rangeing from mid 20's to mid 50's and everyone is catered for.

This resort is very clean with plenty of pubs and clubs. The Time Elevator is brilliant and the best beaches are outside Limassol but a car is needed to visit these. There is no shaded areas on these beaches and it gets very hot.

The resort was ok! It was the best at night times. The beaches were very rocky which isnt too good but the you didnt need to go to the beach if you stayed at the Atlantica. Night time entertainment in limassol was very lively if you are scared of being literally dragged into bars with drink getting thrown down your neck i would keep to the main street and avoid any back alleys (slight exaggeration) but my dad was horrified personally i loved it.The main street had a variety of bars and restaurants. There was a fairground up the road for any parents that wanted to keep their young children occupied. The water park is an hour up the road and you can book this via the hotel. The water park gets very busy. I Would definatley go back to limassol.

Limassol is GREAT with plenty to see and do. Lots for all ages. The resort is clean (you see the binmen out at 6am!) The beach is more shingle in this area but a short bus or car journey takes you to beautiful golden sandy beaches.
Locals are very friendly and there are plenty of resturants that cater for all tastes.

Limmasol old town is a must for the tourist with its castle and old harbour and market place where any manner of goods can be purchased at bargain prices.
The beach is narrow with adequate provision of sun loungers at a cost. The water is safe for all.
We return to this location at least once a year and will continue to do so as we love this resort
