Joanne had a holiday at Cordial Hotel, Amsterdam in March 2006
15 girls - 1 hen weekend descended on the hotel Cordial at the start of March. After reading several reviews I was slightly worried about this hotel but was pleasantly surprised.
We had 3 triple rooms and 3 doubles and were split between 2 floors. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. The hotel has a lift so no walking up 6 flights of stairs and a spacious and clean reception area.
The rooms themselves were clean and sheets changed every day.
The breakfast was continental, (bread rolls, cheese, ham, salami, chocolate spread and jams), but there was plenty and lots of restaurants surrounding the hotel if you wanted a full English.
The location of the hotel was excellent surrounded by shops, bars, clubs and restaurants and cafes.

We had 3 triple rooms and 3 doubles and were split between 2 floors. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. The hotel has a lift so no walking up 6 flights of stairs and a spacious and clean reception area.

We didn\'t see any entertainment at the hotel and don\'t think there was any. I would visit this hotel again as it has everything you needed as a base for a good weekend away.

Stayed here in July 2003.
This hotel is very basic as you can tell from the 1 star rating. It is a good place to sleep and shower. The staff & food were ok and the room was cleaned everyday. The room was very small but as I said it was only a place to rest my head and for the money it was better than staying in a hostel :-) If you just want somewhere to crash then this is the place if your looking for luxury maybe you should be prepared to part with more of your cash!

Nicki stayed at Cordial Hotel in March 2003
Dirty-Dirty-Dirty-Dirty.
Had our room booked out to other people due to a computer error. (it was actually empty.) Sent us across town to another hotel at our expense.
Place stank of stale smoke and sweat.
Rooms were a disgrace - mould on ceiling which was about to fall in. - The carpet you would only walk on with shoes - sheets clean but not spotless.
Did not try the breakfast, the public areas of the hotel were enough for me without thinking what the kitchens were like.
Take a tip - Grab a box and sleep in a doorway.
