Hotel very good.
We thought the food was excellent, although a little repetitive. The restaurant is spacious and clean and the waitresses always friendly and cooing at our 8 month old!
Room was a bit small for us, we have stayed in alot bigger, we would have been better in a 2 bed app not a 1.
Entertainment was rather dire, although the reps did try hard. There was also lots of kids running around so there were a few broken glasses and spilt drinks!
The hotel is in a great location right on the beach, there are a few shops, arcades, and restaurants close by but it is a fair way from Alcudia centre. We were unable to walk as we had 3 young children with us and there are no pavements to walk on as you get onto the main roads. We did get a taxi a few times into Alcudia these were ok priced and could be picked up by the bus stop opp the hotel.
All in all we had a lovely hol and would go back to the Pins again some day.

hopeless, this was an expierience, no hot water for a whole week. be warned if you have a family the very young reps are hopeless they do not try at all, thats if they are there! entertainment area is worst i,ve seen in 23 years of travelling no control on smoking during kids clubs or under age drinking. this place has lost the plot don,t go,TRUTH !

After reading this website i must admit i was a little worried to say the least. Anyone who is due to stop at the Alcudia Pins, do not panic. We have just got back last week and it was the best holiday we had. The hotel itself was beautiful. The pool was lovely, the rooms were excellent and the overall complex was just perfect. You can walk straight out onto the beach if you wish and everything you need is at hand. The only thing that you may have a problem with is its location - it is a short bus ride or taxi ride to the main parts of Alcudia. The bus stops right outside the hotel and run every 30 mins or so. Taxi's are a little on the expensive side, but no more than what you would pay at home. Places i would recommend to go is The Port. The marina is lovely and has some nice restaurants and bars along the front. Dollar Street was the most lively place to visit, full of late night bars. The entertainment in the complex was also really good, whether you have got kids or not - they cater for everyone and it is really enjoyable. Do not believe what people have wrote about the Alcudia Pins. When we arrived we could not believe our eyes - can't wait to go back - and will be very soon!!!

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly.
The problem is that there are just one or 2 bars there and the reps always send you to the right side in Alcudia even thought in the older side in Can Picafort there's more bars, a nice promenade, a big duty free shop and it's not too far you have the bus in front of the hotel.
The holiday was excellent. I recommend this hotel to every one.

Visited this hotel in October 2003 after winning a mytravel auction. Total cost 100 each. AOI. Although it was a bit out of the resort there was a regular cheap bus service. we stayed SC and did not try the food but not a great choice of restaurants or bars nearby. takeaway pizza at hotel was good though! To be honest if I'd have been disappointed if had paid full price due to location and apartments were not really four star size, but we enjoyed it despite the awful weather!

When we arrived at the hotel,wour first impression were that we had choosen a good resort.We checked in at reception which seemed to take forever due to the staff talking to each other.Arrived at the room looked around and boy did we change our mind.We dont think that the room had been cleaned from the guests that were there a month ago!!!!!!!!!!The floor was full of sand,both patio doors were full of finger marks,chocolate & some kind of drink.The balcony had not been cleaned,sand on the floor and a spilled drink.Under the beds there was dust cob webs from one bed to other.The bathroom was ok.My first day was spent cleaning the room.Reception was told about this & so was the airtours reps yet nothing was done about the appartment.

if you are in search of paradise DO NOT GO HERE!!
Where to start, lets begin with the 400 sunbeds all with towels on at 7am but not a human being in sight, must have been the cockroaches. The beds are crammed together with little space to actually walk, the pool is too small for the sheer volume of bodies let alone lilo's. The place is covered with rubbish from people too lazy to clear up after themselves, pizza, bottles, plastic bags, beer cans/bottles etc. all of which invariably end up in the pool, especially after the nighttime sessions. Small children are left to hurtle around the corridors at night because their parents are too busy getting blitzed, I assume these were the same ones who let their children use the pool as a toilet or dumped soiled nappies in the pool( which had to be cleared 4 times during our 14 day holiday- and the top 12 inches of water skimmed- apparently this makes it safe?!! The "entertainment" was at best mediocre and at worst racially inflammatory, although on the 5 occasions when there were professional entertainers they were pretty good. Still, that does leave us with a pretty spectacular location with miles of sand and ocean, pity about the sanitary items and other toilet refuse floating in it.

we have just returned from the alcudia pins for 2 weeks,well its not as bad as they say but the cleanliness is a bit below standard,our maid only cleaned our toilet once in 2 weeks and that was only because we asked her to as our children were both very ill from a bug found in the swimming pool which put many in hospital.The food was nice but the variety of choice was very poor as chips were for breakfast and for tea not a lot of choice for kids,our kids didn,t eat in the resturant very often so we got spaghetti and things from supermarket.overall holiday was good but just needs to improve on above areas,reception was very helpful at all times and front of hotel always very clean, just rooms not too good,the pool has now been emptied and cleaned so maybe it will be better now good luck on your holiday and enjoy!!!!

Quite a mixed bunch of reviews on this forum by the looks of things you either love it or hate it.
We found it a lovely family holiday right on the beach.
The food and restuarant were first class with loads of choice and plenty for the kids.
The entertainment was spot on both daytime and evening
with the entertainment reps working tirelessly for little reward.
Cheap and regular bus service into either Alcudia or C'an picafort.The resorts had everything you would expect from a Spanish tourist resort.
we tried to book again for this year but were unable to get what we wanted but will definately go back in the future.
Yes it was busy around the pool but why book a hotel on the beach and then spend all your time round the pool.We came up from the beach around 3pm and found no problem getting a sunbed.
Lets be honest any complaints about towels on sunbeds or rubbish discarded around the pool was caused by us Brits as 95% of the people staying there were British.
All in all FAB!!!
