We went back to the Promenade for the third time and it's amazing how many familiar faces you see that stay there year after year. We booked direct this time to make certain that we had a front sea view room and we stayed for 10 nights. We paid 4 Euros each per night extra for a premier room and it was truly fantastic. The previous rooms we had there were excellent but this one was ultra modern and had a superb glass cubicle shower in the middle of the room - for modesty the side facing the balcony wasn't glass but who could see you on the 4th floor anyway. There were two round wash basins (with mixer taps coming out of the wall) on the vanity top which ran the length of the room and a TV at the far end opposite the bed. Obviously the toilet was private. This was room 432 and we would ask for this room again. The cleaning staff, receptionists and dining room staff are great and work really hard to make your holiday enjoyable. The only down side was that Rafa and Jordy are no longer working in the bar but Vicky and Nasser have been there a long time and they are brilliant. Unfortunately the new bar staff are not quite as conscientious and you can wait ages for them to serve you when Vicky and Nasser arn't there to make them move - it is quicker to go to find them to order your drinks. Even though we tipped them every time it didn't make any difference. All in all the Promenade is still a great place to stay and we would recommend it to anyone who wants a wonderfully relaxing holiday.

All brilliant, as last year. This Hotel is absolutely wonderful. Rafa and Jordy in the bar are just the best, nothing is too much trouble and it's always service with a big smile. After Lorna and I went last year we just had to return and take our partners. They absolutely loved it and we are going back again next year. We have never been to the same place twice before but it will be my third time and Eric's second and we can't wait. If you want a totally relaxing and unhassled holiday this is the place to go. Enjoy !!!!!

The Aqua Hotel Promenade is brilliant - so clean and friendly. The rooms have balcony, TV, hair dryer, air conditioning, shampoo, shower gel etc and are cleaned every day to a very high standard. The restaurant is light and airy and food is buffet style and also excellent with an amazing variety that would suit all tastes, from toast to a delicious roast and amazing salad, fresh fruit and dessert selections. You could not fault anything at this hotel. It is in the perfect location, right on the seafront and by the shops. The staff are lovely and always smiling and helpful. The entertainment was not for us but others enjoyed it. We met a Dutch couple who stay there twice a year and it was their 20th visit. The swimming pool was at the back of the hotel which did not get very much sun but the beach is accross the road so it didn't matter.

Described as disabled friendly, but ramps are too steep, and the lifts are too small, you can wait 10 minutes sometimes for a space in the lift

Nice hotel, nice staff, good service.
We've enjoyed our stay very much and will surely vistit this hotel again.
The rooms are more than OK, we stayed in an appartement, the one thing that I wasn't that happy about is that one bedroom (and bathroom) is located on on the first floor of the appartement and the kitchen and two other beds are on the second floor. This is not very partical when you have small child(ren).
We've enjoyed our stay very much and will surely vistit this hotel again.

We visited this hotel just before the beginning of the school half term.
The hotel was excellent for the holiday we wanted. It was clean and airy and the staff were welcoming and pleasant. The only down fall was that the food was slightly boring. However, at the beginning of the 2nd week all guests were asked their opinion and if they wanted any changes to the menu. What can I say? A hotel that listens to its guests! Only it appears that they only listened to some of the English guests as all we got for breakfast for a week was bacon and beans. But again, for the price we paid, as independant travellers it was excellent value and the staff have ensured that my 6 year old daughters Spanish now has a correct accent.
