lol @ the purple used on the website. I actually quite like the new colour scheme. I must admit it did take a little time to sink in but it is slowly growing on me.
There is lots going on at Monarch at the moment. You may be interested to know they now have a
Facebook site and a
Twitter site where you can take advantage of unique discounts, get help and advice, provide feedback and take a look at what else is going on at the moment. Feel free to "like" them and follow them on the respective sites to take advantage of the offers. If is also a good way to get answers to any questions we are unable to answer here.
You will see on the Facebook site that Monarch are sponsoring the English Heritage Concerts at the moment. There are photos of the most recent event on the site. They have some pretty nifty marketing going on.
I can also tell you that there will soon big big changes over on the
Cosmos website in the autumn. Cosmos is part of the Monarch Group. As well as offering their own choice of holidays they will also be soon be offering holidays from other operators. The person at the helm of the Monarch Group, Fabio Mantegazza, has also spoken in the travel press about Monarch co-operating with Air Europa, part of the spanish travel giant, Globalia. More changes to come at Monarch so watch this space...
One more thing to mention for people on here is that Monarch has also recently made changes to the food they provide onboard. It is now more of a coffee shop-style offering. Details can be found on the
Monarch website. I have noticed however that it is not currently possible for people to pre-book this for those who book online through the Monarch Holidays, Cosmos or Avro websites . If you would like to add a meal on to your flight booking then you can do so by calling your travel agent / tour operator. However, this will be addressesd when the websites are changed in the autumn.
