we take a few evro for the first day then change sterling in resort .. usualy a few cents better than uk but look around

unless your account is with nationwide then yes you will be charged for using it

just hunt round for the best rate usualy you can find 3or 4 cents better than the uk

They do charge commission in Rhodes, most places it's 2%. To be honest there's not a lot in it, you get a slightly better rate but then lose some again in commission :think
