hiya folks, we have had a good quote on the coral sea resort in sharm, just wondered if anyone out there has been adn can give me theyre opinion of the place, we have heard some good reports, but wanted to know what the experts say, any help or thoughts greatly recieved. thanks[/b][/b]

i've been here twice and loved it both times. if you need and questions answered i will do my best.

Was at the Coral Sea Resort for two weeks last July/August ................................. you will nt be disappointed
hiya 51 weeks till we go to csr, and cant wait, im sure it must be covered here somewhere, but is it worth taking any towels with you as i heard that beach towels are included with use of a card, just thinking it may be something less to pack. there will be 3 adults and 2 children in hte party.
towels are provided free of charge both on the beach and by the pool. you use a towel card for them but do not lose the card or you will be charged, think it is about 15 pounds per card lost.
hiya i am trying to find out what the rooms are like at csr, does anyone have any pics (tell me how to look at them please) or is there a web site for the hotel so i can look. thanks
can anyone tell me what the a/i drinks are like (specifically red & white wine & beer-sakara?)and what time it goes on to? also on your last day does the a/i end at midday even if you have a late departure?

the all inclusive stopped at midnight while i was there. we had to vacate room by midday but you can pay the hotel to keep it longer if your flight is later. cheaper to do it over there with the hotel direct than with first choice. see the reception the day before you depart. white wine was like vinegar in my opinion. did not try red. vodka was fine though, had an odd beer and it was o.k. but i probably wouldn't know a good beer from a bad really!

would you recomend i take towels with me or not, i know i ve got a year to go but iim planning already, also do you need any jabs to go to egypt?
We stayed at Coral Sea last August and drinks were fine i stuck to the cocktails hubby didnt like the wine but he said beer was not that bad.
No need to take towels you get them fresh every day in room and around the pool.
Also your A/I wrist bands stay on your wrist untill you leave they do not ask for it.

thanks celine, i know its a year away but ive heard so many fab things about csr i just cant wait to go, ive got this years hols(2 weeks in a caravan in newquay) just want easter next year to come as soon as it can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like i say it was our first time last year and we go treat like royalty we are going back in 2009 taking 12 off our friends and family with us just waiting for Eclipse to bring the prices out.
You will have a fantastic time im sure when we first booked up we waited a year before we went so i know how you feel i used to count the weeks away
The food is perfect best we have had on A/I and we have been doing A/I for years now and i mean years
since our kids were little and the youngest is 19 this year so just enjoy im sure you will

Unfortunately Eclipse are not going to be around much longer. We received a letter from First Choice explaining that FC and Thomson are merging. Though Eclipse will continue taking bookings until December this year and our CSR holiday in July won't be affected by these changes.

something else will take its place it always does ,i usually get my quote from eclipse then take it to the first choice shop and get them to do a price match ,but the market place is getting tighter and there will be less good deals around in the future due to less choice
Hi going to csr next April. Can anyone tell me what nationalities besides english go there? Is it just english as it is exclusive to 1stchoice?
Depending on what time of year you go there may be a few Russians, which there are more of in Winter months. There will be mainly British at this hotel so I wouldn't worry too much. We stayed there last June and I didn't notice any foreigners. There will be less Russians than alot of the hotels in Sharm
