Delays in receiving tickets

Just wondered if anyone otherthan me have had delays in receiving tickets for holidays to Turkey in the next week or so.

Hii we travel with FC on 18th and received our tickets last week. I would give them a ring you,ll probably have to collect them at the airport.
I was wondering phoning them direct but I booked via a travel agent and really its them that should be doing the chasing.

hi have you spoken to your travel agent? Me personally, being a bit of a panicker would ring first choice theyll be able to tell you where your tickets are. Have you booked a latedeal because you do normally have to collect your tickets from the airport if you booked in the last 2/3 weeks.
I spoke to the travel agents today who advise that the tickets were printed off at FC on 28th Apr.
I might give them a call direct later.

I am travelling with Portland(Thomson) to Turkey tomorrow and have had the tickets for 3 weeks.
Well according to FC this evening, they said they were printed out 28 Apr.
That there had been a hitch on the computer system which deal with the ticketing.
Whether you believe that or not, makes you wonder.
Will phone the Travel Agents yet again tomorrow.

we are travelling 12th may and we have had same problems with tickets we are now collecting ours from airport on day we treavel.
I'm still waiting too.
What the travel agent will do is give us a letter of confirmation to take to the airport, they wont be able to give you new tickets to pick up airport.

They should give you a TOD (Ticket on Departure) letter. You will go to the agents desk at the airport, and they will issue tickets there.

Heard back from travel agents. LOD being posted out 1st class today to me.
Lets hope the Thomson desk is open at the airport that early in the morning on Monday.

Looks as though Thomsons still havent sorted out the problem of sending out tickets,we had the same problem in March when travelling to the Dominican,in the end we got 2 lots of tickets???

Flying to Turkey on the 25th with Thomsons and no tickets yet.
hi it seems that all the companys are not sending tickets out do you think they may be trying to save money by saying get them at the airport Janet
Going with Thomas Cook on 28th May and letter came 9th May to say tickets are ready to collect from Travel Agents.
