We have booked a week in the Costa de la Luz (Isla Canela) near the Portugese border.
We have not yet booked flights and are wondering if it is feasible to combine a week in the there with a few days in Marbella area. We could fly in and out of different airports - Faro and Malaga for instance.
How long do you think it would take to drive from Malaga to Isla Canela?
Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi Pippa. I drove from Arroyo de la Miel (Benalmadena) to Isla Canela last autumn (via Malaga). The AutoRoute guide said the journey (230 miles) would take four hours and one minute. Did it in four hours exactly. That included a stop for petrol and a snack, as well as getting lost just a mile or so from our destination.
Malaga-Isla Canela, then, is an easy four hours.
