Good news Pips :tup

I always rate EJ fairly highly and would rather fly them above many of the charters like TC. I know it's a little different with city type destinations and the whole point is we need to do it cheaply anyway but I'd certainly choose EJ over Ryanair although weve never really had any problems with them either.

Soon Pippy will be gigging in Russia with EJ having gained the rights to fly to Moscow from Gatwick.

Ask EasyJet they will give the correct answer............

Skootsman, if I understand it correctly, your dad needs advice about travelling with a CPAP machine. It MUST be taken hand baggage, and my experience with Easyjet is that they are very sympathetic and will often allow a piece of medical equipment to be carried in addition to the one piece of handbaggage allowed.

Your dad will not be using the equipment in flight so that will not worry them at all.

Easyjet's website desribes what is allowed here

So your dad will need a doctor's letter stating that he needs to use his machine every night and that it is vital to his health. It will help if the doctor can mention the name of the manufacturer and the reference of the machine eg ResMed S9 or Respironics RemStar.

Do advise your dad that although security are very used to seeing these machines, it is quite normal for them to 'divert' them in the security scan and then take a swab (always negative!!!). Taking the swab will neither harm the equipment nor the user subsequently using it!

On a printed Ryanair boarding pass it also includes info if you are checking in hold luggage - ie 1 Hold luggage 15Kgs.

Do you get this printed with Easyjet boarding passes ? I have never seen it but keen to find out.

Hi Lorraine, I booked my November 2012 Tenerife flights from Manchester on the 22nd March the first opportunity. Other UK airports were issued in waves a little later. In the past i have waited until May for November flights. Manchester is usually the first. You need to watch the website everyday for the best prices..

Really stupid question, so apologise, fly in 11 days times and have printed off boarding cards, do I just drop off luggage and whatnot when I get there? Have paid for some.
I've never flown easyjet and have only flown once before, so I apologise.

You need to drop your paid for bags at the bag drop which is seperate from the check in desk, and go through to security straight away, do your boarding passes state your allocated seats? ?.. Don't apologise. Do take notice of the only one item of hand luggage per passenger rule. Bon voyage.....

yes, did take notice of one piece of hand luggage that's why I paid to take a suitcase x
Thank you kindly. xx
yes my boarding passes say allocated seats....looked at seatguru too. I didn't pay extra, but my friend and I are sat together.

Hi, can you tell me which terminal Easyjet fly from out of Manchester. We fly out to Santorini on Wed 15th May, thanks

We have allocated seats on a flight from Manchester to Santorini on Wed 15th May. How are the seats reserved, ie do they just put a note on them similar to Ryanair or are all passengers given a random seat number when they check in/book? Just wondering if anyone had used the reserved seat system and if we are ok to wait till last to board? Thanks

Where will I find the flight numbers for Easyjet flights? We are flying from MAN to Santorini on Wed 15th May, returning 7 days later. The hotel is arranging to collect us from the airport but requires the flight number which is not on our confirmation. Thanks

Did you make the booking online or did a travel agent make the booking? When OH flew with them last week he was able for a small fee to choose his seat and reserve it during the online booking process. The seat number then showed up on his boarding card. I believe that if you don't choose the seat during booking then seats will be automatically allocated when you check in.

Easyjet flight numbers are usually EZY.... a brief check of the flight to Santorini gives the number 1851. I'm suprised it's not on your confirmation.

With an allocated seat you don't have to get in the queue early on, you can sit back and wait a while before joining in the crush.

camel,

You can flind the numbers on Easyjets website or your booking confirmation. Is it the MAN-JTR-MAN (EZY1851/2) you're on departing at 0740, arriving 1345? Seats are allocated when you check-in or if you've reserved them, you can do it at the time of booking or login to My Easyjet and select them on their website under your booking. Easyjet operate from MAN Terminal 1.

Rather than post 3 seperate items, you can edit your original post if you want to add something rather then making seperate posts.
