We normally fly to Preveza this time of year to get to Parga but this year we are flying out on Friday to Skiathos.

Just reading up on Sivota and Parga.
Booked to go to Meteora and would like to go to the Alcheron Springs althought have just read the river has 6 foot water snakes!!!!

Have you gone on either of these trips?

Are you staying in Skiathos? I have been 3 times, lovely ilsnad.

We visted the Acheron river from Parga last year and didn't see any snakes. It realy is beautiful and the water is icy cold where the springs run in to the river. It's a lovely area, lots to see if you hire a car for a few days. Meteora is fantastic - the rock formations would be amazing enough then with the monasteries on top too, it's totaly unique.
