Hi, could anyone tell me the average price of a beer/spirit in a 5* hotel (in Sharm) I have been to Luxor before and stayed in the Sonnesta, it was about £2.50 for a beer and about £5 for a smirnoff and coke! At the moment I am swaying between B&B or A/I. Also how do the prices for alcohol compare when outside the hotels? In Luxor a beer was about 80p - £1. Hope someone can give some advise, by the way I'm not a raging alky, you can generally work out prices on the "beer" index

I go now in November and i am on the beach for 8 am it is fresh then and good temps, not sticky.
We are off the beach at 4.30pm as it gets cooler and dark is setting in, sunset 4.45 approx.
Beer and spirits are about the same price in sharm as in the UK, half a pint of heineken is about £2.50, wine £3.50 a glass and spirits about £6 (JD and coke) ........ this was based on last nov prices x
