Have TUI pulled the plug?

We have a holiday booked later this year with Portland. Our daughter has been told!! that a german company (TUI?) have oulled the plug on the English arm (Thomson). does anyone else have any info to substantiate or rubbish this rumour please. We are due to pay the balance at end of July..

I've not heard anything about this.

Are you sure that she's not got mixed up with THOMAS COOK whose majority shareholder (Arcandor - a German company) has filed for bankruptcy?

if you do find out that your daughter had got mixed up about Thomas Cook and you have a holiday booked with them, please do read the Thomas Cook thread.

I posted about (IMHO) the appalling reporting about this situation.
