I booked a package holiday through on the beach to go to Santa Ponsa, Majorca with my friends. Upon arrival I was told that the hotel I had booked was full and I would have to stay in one of the other hotels. The lady took me across to another hotel which wasn’t clean,had ants and didn’t even have the all inclusive benefit that we had paid for. She said that if we were hungry we’d have to walk back to the first hotel to get our meals and drinks from all inclusive. A few hours later some more of my friends arrived and were immediately taken to their correct hotel rooms. Which were a different class than ours. Much cleaner and way better presented. After speaking to a manager they said they could only help the next day. So we spent a night in the ant filled room. The next day we were told to bring our stuff to the other hotel in order to get our correct room. Upon doing this we had been put in a disabled access room. Which had a much less desire able feel to it than all of my friends rooms and less space in the room. Overall the accommodation was quite poor and I’m wondering if I can claim any of the costs back as they say that there are “no refunds” for the booking but clearly they have messed me around and I am entitled to compensation as I didn’t get what I paid for?
