I will be taking approx 700.00 for 2 weeks, and a few day trips
We normally take about £40 per day each. On some days you do nothing but laze around the pool and you get a carry over too the next day when you might go on a day trip.
We inlcude the travelling days were you dont spend an awful lot, but it gives you a bit to spend on extras.

We took just over £1700 for four of us when we went to Samos and we brought back £250 back and thats after hiring a car and paying for the airconditoning for 2 weeks and eating out every night.
And i would say Samos is slightly more exspensive than Zante

I was going to ask the same question about how much money as we have never been to Greece before! We are going to Santorini for two weeks on the 23rd August. We are staying in SC apartments in Kamari. We are a couple and are 24yrs and 19yrs old, but won't be out looking to drink every night.
We are planning on taking £800 is this enough or shall we have more?

Thanks for the replies. I am always worried incase I don`t take enough.
same here i always think im not taking enough....
Are you self catering, room only or bed and breakfast, or full board, but I am sure £40 per day will be very adequate. I know the Euro has made a big change to the Greek economy but you sound like to sencible girls not drinking too much, have a good holiday.

Going to Parga at the end of August. We were thinking of £100 per day for 3 of us (2 adults, 1 boy age 10) plus a bit extra for emergencies!
we are a family of 5, 2 adults 3 kids, and any holiday to greece or turkey, we always take £1500, literaly £100 a day, as said before not much is needed on arrival and leaving day, we always do several trips over the fortnight, eat out every night, fresh bread /croissants etc for brekkies, light lunch or picnic on beach, a sensible good drink on a night and plenty duty free's and pressies for home, we never skimp and always have enough
