I think iv found it after lots of searching about a stomach bug problem at the Movenpick, Taba.
I didnt hear anything just caught the photo on the screen and them saying Egypt resort, got to
be bad news, they wouldnt report on what a great time there all having.

Hi Louise, I think I knew about this as someone on TA Taba Forum posted a thread about it as they were there while it was going on and one of their party was hospitalised, but TA deleted the post. The person was trying to warn people not to go there at that present time until it had cleared up.

Apparently it was the Movenpick in Taba, 170 ill with food poisoning!!

Tiried, but failed, to attach a link but there is a report in the Derby Evening Telegraph dated 6 May about a local family of 3 being amongst 150 holiday makers taking legal action because of stomach problems. Both staff and tourists affected.

Unlikely I would have thought not on that scale, not if everybody seemed to come down with it at the same time. Surely if it was brought in by one or two people it could have been contained a lot more quickly. Large scale problems seem to be when everybody catches something simultaniously.
