Well firstly I must say that I found it expensive, St Jullians seems to be the place to go to learn english so lots and lots of young Maltees people.

Beaches are hard to come by but plenty of iron ladders that climb down to the sea so you can take a dip, BUT watch out for the Jelly Fish.

Some Beaches charge you to go on them but most have little sand but plenty of SunBeds.

We stayed in a 5* Hotel which had a so called beach at the front and one at the back both with swiming pools, The hotel also charged people to go on there beaches if you were not stayong at the hotel.

This hotel seemed to own the street it was on as the cafes and bars all had the same name after the Hotel complex.

We loved our holiday but would not go back again mainly as its to expensive and we would like more sand so we can walk in to the sea and not jump in.

Also what I found very usedfull was my swimming shoes, because the beaches at Malta are mainly rocks and you can not always see what your going to stand on.

Also get a cheap scuba suilt so you don't get stung by the Jelly Fish.
I will say more about my Hotel in the 5* bit so look out for that.
