Thanks for the link... I have paid my subs to snowforecast.com today to try and keep my spirits up. I was delighted to log in to see snow flakes on their daily update today! Phew..I booked this holiday last year and I know hubby will be pretty cross if we arrived to green grass and no snow. I guess I should have thought about the dates a little better.

Kranjska Gora Live Cameras. I'm not a skier so I can't say whether that's enough for your needs but it would certainly bring Britain to a grinding halt!

We went skiing here 2 years ago at feb half-term and enjoyed it apart from all the British school parties who were there at the same time. I hope for your sake that there were so many because it was half-term and you will not have to put up with them causing big queues at the lifts! We did an afternoon trip to Lake Bled which was good and made a nice change from skiing. Prices were quite low, but have probably increased now they are in the euro! Try the cakes at the Hotel Prisank.

We are thinking of having a change from Yllas Lapland next year but love cross country skiing - Austria and the like seem really expensive so we have been looking at Lake Bled or Kranjska Gora. Any more info re snow conditions in February? We've been spoiled in Lapland and dont want to spend the build up to the holiday worrying 'will it, wont it'!
