Dor, why would there be a problem with a laptop at Sharm. There must be a million, maybe more, laptops taken through airports every day in this age we live in. I have never seen anyone have trouble with any electrical, or photographic equipment when taking it through any Egyptian airport, or any other airport come to that.

don't worry about a laptop being noted in your passport.... if they do, its to make sure you bring it back out of the country with you....

I have to say though, not sure if it will fit in hotel safe.... not sure how secure it will be....

lots of internet cafes around, so don't take your own!
