Hi Jean. My wife and I walked to the train station a month ago from the airport, and nothing had changed. Although it's pretty shambolic around the car park, we still managed to disembark the plane at 12.35, get our luggage, then made the 13.14 train for Benalmadena. Great to be lucky!

A new underground railway station is to be built directly below the short stay car park but completion isn't due until 2014 at the earliest.

I used the train station last week its still the same walk up to departures and through the car park,if anything its got worse with all the construction work going on around it.
