I'm so excited. We've just booked a week in marmaris in october...spur of the moment thing!! Four weeks on Friday!

We've been to Sharm this year, having visited Marmaris for the past two years and I missed it so much. I work in school and am limited to taking holidays out of term time, as are many family's with children now.
Anyway, we got an excellent deal...staying at the Ekin Hotel. It's just me and the hubby who are going. The kids are staying with their grandparents. I am hoping that many of the bars and restaurants will still be open. Also wondering what the weather will be like. We've been in May and also in August, but never been in October. May weather was gorgeous during the day and cooler at night... needed a cardigan if we eating out at night. August was just hot, hot, hot whichever time of day.

Hoping someone will be able to give me some help.

oct is similar to may ,i have been going the last few octs and it gets chilly at night but daytime is usually lovely, there is another thread running about this too

Found it warm during the day and cooler at night , a lot of the turkish people wore jackets at night but british people could wear t-shirts and jeans at night.

we ın ıcmeler now and ıts stıll very hot 35 plus degrees . we returnıng ın october too and by the way the weather ıs now looks lıke ıt stıll maybe very hot (hopeful )

Peacelili, what date will you be going to Marmaris? I go 22nd October staying in Club Turquise.
