Has anyone been to the Park Royal Hotel in Cozumel, Mexico?
I'm going there with my husband and 2 boys aged 9 & 11 on Saturday the 2nd August. We have just cahnged from The Holiday Village White Sands and still wondering if this was a good move. The HVWS is still being refurbished and we had a letter advising us that the relaxation pool was closed and there would be power tools used between 8-5 Monday to Sunday.
Just hope we have made the right choice, would love to hear from anyone.

I have just come back from Park Royal hotel in Cozumel and cannot fault this hotel at all. It was amazing, a very excellent Mexican experience.
The people were very friendly and could not do anough for you. The hotel was also exceptionally clean. The food was great and I found this to be a fantastic 5 star resort.
Would deffinaltely recommend this hotel
While we were there we spoke to other families that were staying at HVWS and were not enjoying it at all. They had bingo every night and it was like a caravan clubhouse. Also the food was not good and they were still fixing the pool when we all left on Saturday 16th August.
Thank god we changed hotels.
We went to Mexico to get a Mexican experience and that was exactly what we got. No chips, no bingo and no YMCA.
Park Royal Cozumel is excellent and we will be going back there.
