Always try to get seats at the front of the air craft, it is really cold though,especially on Thomson flights. If you sit in the middle/end of the air craft, all the rubbish you will be breathing in throughout your flight is other peoples breath. It is all recycled through the air vents.

Same goes for air conditioning in hotels, we had ours on for 2 hours early evening and morning, it was off at night.

Your right I was right in the middle of the plane. But unfortunatly I don t think we are allowed choose where to sit!! The airplane is perfect breeding ground for this kind of thing. And I was just thinking I am normally never on a plane for longer than 1 1/2 hours so maybe that could be a factor as it was 3 and half to Tunisia. Though my partner didn t get sick!!
Many factors including heat, cold sea and pools and freezing air conditioning in the rooms can trigger off tummy upset as well. Bring medication just in case.
If sick tell the rep as well just in case it proves to be something really serious. As at the time I thought I was dying But she said its good to know even if just a bug just in the off chance it could be an epidemic or contagious eg.food poisoning, salmonella, meningitis.

I forgot to add that you can choose where to sit, ring the thomson airline up, and request your seat numbers, we always buy the exit seats on row 1. I never buy seats together from the travel agents, always ring direct to the airline.

We don t have Thompson in Ireland-we were with Panorama/my travel but Ill try ringing them up next time maybe they might allow it. Ill do anything to prevent a replay of what happened on holidays!!

It should not matter which airline or where you live. So long as you ring the airline direct, they will help you. Good luck
