Can anyone tell me if there are any airlines fly direct to verona from newcastle - Thomsons and BMI do but only with package holidays.

When are you wanting flights? Presumably in the summer? As you say, Thomsonfly have a flight operating on a wednesday (TOM6671/2) and a saturday (TOM6621/2) but these are charters for Crystal and Inghams, you can't book them flight only. They are the only direct flight's I'm afraid. If you want to fly from NCL, you could go via other airports with the likes of KLM or Air Fance.
