It is usually pretty stormy on the way down, especially then. Even in the canaries it will be pot luck as they get a lot of wind and rain nov/feb.

We have cruised in the Canaries several times in November and December. Had lovely weather each time. However we flew to Tenerife so can't comment on the sail down.

Make sure you take travel sickness tablets such as Stugeron just in case.

We have cruised to the Canaries from Southampton in late November. Although we were warned about the Bay of Biscay, it was a millpond both ways. As mentioned the weather in the Canaries was great a nice mid 70's. However, the Bay this July was a little stormy.
