The death of XL Airways has been a disaster for holidays flying out from Scotland.

For example, Olympic Holidays only have packages to Rhodes from 10 June to 15 July.

Libra and Sky do not have any packages from Scotland to Greece at all this year.

The Thomas Cook Group now has a monopoly on most Greek holidays from Scotland.

I have been lucky enough to have booked this years hols last year and also received a refund from Olympic for my cancelled holiday on 3 June.

But I wonder how this current monopoly will reflect in next year's prices.
