Pretty much nothing has changed since I was there in September. Hotel room was clean, food was good and the sun was shining all week so the holiday was great.

They are digging up the road leading up to the hotel at the moment (think they're laying a new access road as they've almost finished building new apartments behind the Palm Beach) but this is not stopping the bus service from running so that's still good.

hi gill me again just wonderin is the main part in walking distance or do you advise getting on the bus? we dont mind walking but just wanted to no.

The hotel is within walking distance but it is up a few steep hills!! We used to get the bus up to the hotel during the day and then walk back up after being out at night. The walk up the hill once a day is enough!

I think the bus service stops running about 10.30pm The hotel reception gives you tickets to get on the bus for free so remember and ask for them.

We were almost in the Centre of Benidorm last week when I remembered about asking for bus tickets, luckily my boyfriend still had 2 in his wallet from the day before......phew

Hi. is this hotel as far away from beach & main town as it looks on google earth?

No not realy that far (if you roll down the hill ) , but no seriously its probably a ten minute walk to the beach if that .

Thanks for the quick reply it looks quite far on google earth thats all ive stayed at the los dalmatas before and it looks miles from there lol.

No problem . Once your down the hill and onto the main road the dalmatos is just on your left as your heading to the beach i think lol

Anyone been here latley. Has the road reopened or are you still dumped at the bottom of the hill? any info please.

Yeah i would also like info on this as i go on tuesday, only 5 more sleeps getting a little worried though because some of the reviews lately have been really disappointing Any information about the road and if anyone has been lately would be greatfully appreciated. x

We went last Feb and are returning there today.

Its my 40th on Friday and although not requested, i Have a feeling that the hotel will lay on something special!

I'll feedback on our return.

One thing I would add is that the indoor pool requires that you wear a swimcap - we bought some last year, however, it seems that most Brits tend to ignore this directive!

It may be worth buying a cheap one at home instead of paying the prices at reception in the hotel.

we have just returned from a break to benidorm.
we were told the hotel was airconditioned and it wasnt,it seemed the norm for drunken tourists to urinate up peoples cars in the car park and even in the hotel lifts(when we mentioned this to reception the shrugged their shoulders).
all day and night people screamed shouted and swore to each other accoss from one balcony to another with no respect for any body else on the hotel.a group of men on a stag party who were drunk all day and night thought it was funny to pull done their shorts and flash their behinds in the bar (were young children were present).
the noise was constant 24/7
when we spoke to the manager his response was ,we had to take booking like this to fill our rooms,this was meant to be a quiet 4 star hotel away from the noise and trouble ,which it wasnt

benidorm was somewere we have never fancied going because we imagined it being tacky, full of british lager louts, and guess what we were right , not an experince to be repeated.
