We went in October last year and the parks were just as busy at night especially on a weekend. Trying to get out of the Magic Kingdom after the fireworks was a case of going with the flow of the crowds, thousands of people heading for the exit all at the same time.

Cant believe nights are just as busy quite surprised at that.. july & aug are a nightmare.. up to 90 mins q's on rides argh
