It looks like Baggage Handlers,Drivers et al may be taking strike action tomorrow (28th June) with future strikes planned.

My daughter and her mates are flying to Mahon from Manchester on Wednesday 2nd - if there is a strike on the 1st, will it affect the next day's flights?
Well had a word with some of the girls at the airport and they know nothing about it 
Not to say though it could be on we are in Menorca lol

Is the strike on or not?
Flights have been leaving Manchester on time this morning and there is nothing on any of the news websites to suggest it's gone ahead.

Have just collected friends from Palma airport and no delays or difficulties with baggage whatsover..fingers crossed all will be resolved and no more hassle!
Well business was as usual today so think everything ok but keep you updated if see or hear anything different

Any more news on this? Last I heard was they were threatening more strikes from end July to end of August.
Thanks for that, keeping everything crossed it stays that way.
