Trying at the moment to get a flight to Tenerife on 26th or 27th Dec for 1 wk at Playa De Las Americas.

Can anyone recommend somewhere thats self catering, which is a fairly central location to the main resort, beach, restaurants etc ? Ideally would be prepared to walk 1/2 hr to get to a beach, but really want restaurants/bars pretty close by to the apartments.

Looking for somewhere at a reasonable price.

There are 3 adults, a 5 yr old and a 1 yr old (in a cot) going, and we all want to be in 1 room.

Not bothered about the * rating, as long as its clean etc.

Any advice/info would be v.much appreciated.
