I see you are staying at the Luxor. I would definitely try the buffet at Mandalay Bay as we thought it was excellent for choice and quality. The Spice Market buffet at Planet Hollywood is also very good and I really like the one at Harrah's too.

For a special meal my favourite is Mon Ami Gabi at Paris, but it's advisable to book, especially at weekends and popular times. You can't book the tables on the patio, but they will give you an idea how long the wait will be and give you a pager so you can wander round the casino till it goes off.

We loved Hugo's Cellar - downtown vegas, also Del Friscoe,s and Firefly for Tapas.

Just noticed that Bennigan's restaurant chain in Florida has closed....maybe for good. At the momernt one franchise remains open in Tampa.

Can anyone recommend good or different restaurants on the Gulf Coast, Florida - between Tampa to Englewood. I am building my new website to advertise our new villa in Venice (next down from Sarasota) We have tried a few different restaurants, but your recommendations would be appreciated.
