Co-op Travel are independent and sometimes have slightly better prices, or you may consider going d.i.y. BA have good prices for flights if you don't mind flying into Tunis and you can book rooms easily through any of the consolidators such as Low Cost Beds, Alpha Rooms or Med Hotels, all of which I've used on many occasions. As Easyjet have now been given permission to fly into Tunis. Monastir and Sfax from this summer I'm waiting to see whether there will be flights from the UK before I book for later this year.

Portland seem to have better prices than other TOs.They are owned by Thomson but their prices are cheaper than Thomson for the same holiday.

You could also try Tunisia First. I'm not sure if you can book on line, but they do have a website you can look at before you call, which will give an idea of prices. They also offer various specialist tours and holidays and offer locations that other tour operators generally don't, such as Bizerte and Tabarka. Their prices are probably not always the cheapest, but they are certainly competitive and they do deals of the week which are good value, as well as early booking offers. The other advantage is that you can piece together your holiday exactly as you want.

I have never been to tunisia before so I have been a little apprehensive about doing diy. I usually do diy for other holidays and i think that is why im finidng TO's expensive. We like the look of PEK.

In some ways d.i.y. is easier because you can check out the various hotels on here or other sites and also see where they actually are by looking at the maps, for example have a look at the following for PEK:
