You don't say where you're coming from ... but I would suggest booking a flight with a low cost airline and then confirming accommodation with a low cost accommodation site.
Thanks for that. We have now booked to go to Palma. Got a good deal with B M I Baby for the flights and looks like a nice hotel with alpha rooms. The whole lot only came to £350 for the 2 of us for 4 days. Checked the holiday companies and the same thing with them would have cost about £200 - £300 more.
