                For 'Goan' food the Butter Chicken and Chilli Fry take some beating.
You can of course get the 'English' dishes like Tikka Masala, Jalfrezi, etc. and they are gorgeous too. Whatever food you have you can almost guarantee that it will be top nosh. Don't be afraid to try everything.

                Aromatic crispy duck, in the Taste of China resturant at the top of Beach road in Candolim, no one else makes it as crispy as them, my mouth is watering,  and chicken in gravy, the gravy is a sort of aniseed sauce, and it is beautiful, 38 DAYS to go.

                We went to Casa Manolita in Jan this year.   I don't know if we were there at the wrong time, or what, but after the way it had been described on here, we were very disappointed.
