Me & DBF (both 26) are going to Praia da Rocha for 2 weeks in August , is there anywhere good for clothes/shoe shopping near by. We're not hiring a car so would have to be close enough for a taxi/bus etc.

Go into Portimao loads of nice shops there and its good for all sorts from clothes to shoes,Praia da rocha is about 10 minutes from Portimao city centre.
The street that leads to and from the railway station in Portimao had over twenty 
shoe shops the last time we were there a couple of years ago.

Agree - loads of shops in Portimao and easy to get to from Praia da Rocha - local bus every 20 minutes most of the day.
There was as I recall an inordinate number of handbag shops.

Oh come on, how could anyone not enjoy going into every single shop, trying on loads of clothes and shoes and then going back to the first shop you went into to buy the first thing you saw...........
