We used them a few years back before they became part of Libra. We took a fairly late deal to the Algarve. We had no problems - the flights were with First Choice and the apartment was ok(ish) - for what we paid it was fine. The rep was probably one of the best we have ever had - very knowledgable and not pushy.

I'm not sure I would use them again simply because Libra themselves do not always get the best reviews and this probably is the case with their various companies.

We are now all booked for the Nathalie Hotel in Ixia,Rhodes. ,
We tried booking with Sky Holidays via their Website but, as it was down and I did not have the phone number, we phoned Libra ,and they booked our holiday with Sky Holidays, as they are all one company.So we saved £60 with the same company .
No travel agent could get close to the price.
We would not have been offered that price if I had not asked about Sky Holidays
We have travelled with Libra before and had no problems so I am sure all will be fine.There are no guarantees with any company these days.We pay our money and take our chance

Booked with Skyhols for egyptin July, saved about £200 per person on the exact same package!

Like others had not heard of them before, but was happy that they were part of the Libra group as that's who we would have booked with going through a travel agent on the high street.

Good, honest, cheap and down to earth accommodation. Good value for money.

I have used this company many times before and they are great. I have booked again this year to Santorini and and if we had of booked through Libra would have ended up paying an extra £40 each. If you request a Sky Holidays brochure please bare in mind that this brochure only has a selection of accomodation that they use. They tend to use ALL the accomodation that is offered in the Libra brochure. Would definately recommend them.

Im just wondering if anybody has any recent information on this company.
We use to always travel with them to majorca, not always by choice they just always came up cheapest.
Anyway we have continued to travel with them but now the new brochure is through we cannot find any majorca or the rest of Spain for that matter its all Greece and Cyprus.
We never heard any thing from the company that this was there last year operating in Spain and were very interested to hear what has happened.

Also if they are not in Majorca can anyone reccommend another company whos prices are similar.

I think the reason is that they wish to become known more as a specialist company concentrating on Greece, Cyprus, Turkey & Egypt.

These countries are more in line with a specialist market, and I know when I look for my Greece holiday Libra is always one of the few companies I would (do) choose.

We have just come back from Skiathos having gone to Corfu in June with the same company. We have had two very good holidays with them just a couple of delays coming back. Sky is the direct selling arm of Libra so you get the same holiday but cheaper. Dawn the rep was the best we have ever had, she did'nt just try to push the trips if she thought they were poor she said so. It was nice to have that honesty! We will be looking to book next years holidays with this company as their prices we found were very cheap.

I may be wrong, But I beleive Dedicated Holidays have gone into liquidation. I am sure some one will soon put me right.

I had 3 three good years of very reasonable holidays with Sky before they sold out.

I don't know anything about takeovers etc, but we have now had our second holiday with Sky Holidays and have no complaints at all.
We went to Rhodes in October 2005 and saved loads compared with Airtours and Skys parent company Libra.The holiday was great ,our rep was great as she was an ex-pat living in Rhodes so knew loads and did not force trips.
We are now back from Cyprus and again had a fantastic time,great value for money.
Its always worth checking out Sky Holidays!
