You will have a hard time even trying to spend that amount, its really cheap there
a charity I support in Goa suggest as a volunteer you would need £1200 for 6 months? for housing food phone calls home etc.

lizzley you could get by on about 3 or 4 hundred and you will live like a king for that ............colleen

But don't forget your credit/debit cards for extravagant purchases or emergencies.
Happy Holidays,regards Paula

If all you want to do eat and drink well and buy a few bits you'll have plenty. If you go to the jewellers......how long is a piece of string?

I'm always skint and go with hardly anything, went with £60 one week 2/3 years ago! Same as over here - you live to your means, I'm sure if I was lucky enough to have £1000 to spend in a fortnight I'd do it no trouble!
we took £500 this year for two weeks, we found it hard to spend this, this time we are taking £1000 but are going for 3 weeks,
we always take £100 a day (£1400) for two weeks.that allows us to buy a bit of jewelery if she wants or maybe a visit to he lacoste shop if i decide.trips etc....that said, ive just about done them all lol.either way £1300 will be well enough dont worry.

lizzley I have a great jeweller I would send you to he has made me about 10 rings now ..and he is a brill man .....colleen
I knew you would help ic,
Apparenty things are likely to be 20% less this year??? - http://www.deccanherald.com/Content/Oct112008/national2008101094488.asp
Although I'll beleive that when I see it.... Good luck, by the way 1200 would last me 6 months! (or more).... Happy haolidays....
