We've stayed in Rui hotels in the past and they're good , our hols this are villa bookings , I've paid about £80 a night for the 2 of us in 2 bed 2 bath ,private pool and spacious villa , I think a hotel would cost more ? Rather choose where I eat than having buffet style breakfast and dinner in the same place each night , quite happy to make a baguette etc for lunch and the shop bought drinks make a big saving on the overinflated hotel drink prices
