Hi Darren!

About a month ago I asked about my flight, TOM2606 MAN-PMI. Then you stated that it was going to be a Boeing 767-300ER. However, since then our flight times have changed and I noticed that it lands in Palma at 12:10 and its return flight (2607) departs at 13:20. Is it usually the case the the 767s need an hour and fifteen minutes turnaround? If so, is it now a different aircraft?

Thanks in advance for your help Darren! Much appreciated! :D

Fly21,

That turn around time is usual for Thomson Airways on short and medium haul flights. It's normally around an hour for a turn-around with the larger aircraft such as the 767 taking slightly longer.

Hi,

We are a family of 8 flying out from Manchester to Marrakesh on 14th June 2012 for 2 weeks, flight number TOM388 and can hopefully book our seats from tomorrow onwards (we'll see..lol)

Is this a 757 with a 3-3 configuration? Which are the the wing seats (to avoid for obstructed view)? I know there is no meal included but is there any IFE? Its only a short flight so we've got enough gadgets between us to keep us occupied but I was wondering.

Thanks

Kay

kayshaw,

All the aircaft information you're looking for is on our What Aircraft? guide. The wing is from rows 12-25 so anything in the forward or rear cabin and you'll be fine.

Hi,

Any information on which aircraft type will be operating TOM 4668/4669 LGW-FUE-LGW on June 9th/16th respectively? For some reason, I always seem to end up booking holidays which involve flying on their last two A321s so I wouldn't be at all surprised if I end up on them again...!

Thanks in advance! :)

joeseptk,

Your flights should be operated by Boeing 737-800. They're getting quite a few new aircraft over the next few months with 6 deliveries since November. It's too early to say which you'll get, but there's a good chance of one of the newer ones with the sky interior.

Goldenknight,

I'm in Cayo Levantado at the moment so catch check, but it'll be an A321 or 757. I can double check in 2 weeks.

Hi.
This is really a question for holiday makers. Are you on flight tom134 Birmingham cancun? The reason I ask is. We are thinking of upgrading to, the premium cabin. The price has gone from. £249 pp to £189 pp.
I have done a dummie booking for, 14 seats and they are available! I have done the same in economy and they are available!
Is there anyone else on this flight, or just the 4 of us??
Bye the way, when premium gets to £100 pp. I'll book it!!;)

This is a question about taking prescribed medication onboard an aircraft.

Can anyone tell me how you would go about getting both oral suspension liquid and possibly a Gel medication onboard the aircraft legally please, as my partner needs it every four hours for arthritic pain relief. The problem is,unlike a trip to Europe our flight to Cancun is down as 11 hours in the air,and my partner will need to have it in her hand luggage on route at least twice ?

Who should we contact in the first instance ?

Hi mustafaholiday ... this is an extract from page 1 of our HAND LUGGAGE REGULATIONS topic, relating to essential medications in liquid form:

Essential Medicines
Essential Medicines for the period of the trip may be permitted in larger quantities above the 100ml limit, but will be subject to authentication. Passengers must have obtained the prior agreement of the airline with which they are travelling and their departure airport. Passengers must also bring with them supporting documentation from a relevant qualified medical professional.

Thanks for the swift reply ! :tup

Having read that lot ,it looks like our best bet will be to give the relevent Thomson number a bell (which one btw ? ), and then bring a Doctors note along for back up, as we really would not want to lose any of the medication in transit.

That Thomson phone number would be a big help guys if you have it please ?

Thanks in advance .

Bear in mind it says to obtain departure airport authorisation too, as in some instances they may require the duty pharmacist to be present during security screening. It might also be worth investigating any security restrictions at Cancun, just so that you don't hit any last minute hitches on the way home.
