We were booked into the Marina Palace but just before we were to fly we found our hotel had overbooked and we had to stay in the Marina Beach.(Next Door) We had the use of all the facilities at the Palace.
You can eat in all the restaurants on the resort if you are in the Palace(All the food seems to be of the same quality) but in the Palace a waiter serves drinks to your table, the sparkling wine was excellent! but the food was often just warm and had a German feel about it. There were lots of cakes that taste the same and ice cream available at lunch and dinner.You could always find something to eat and if you wanted a snack you could have a roll at the pool and even a midnight snack.
The hotel rooms were cleaned very well and we had fresh white towels daily. The hair dryers were not very powerful. There was a fridge in the room but the complimentry drinks for arrival were missing.
The hotel room safe was available but security in the resort was excellent and we chose to leave the passports with the reception (locked in the hotel safe) and use our cases to lock other things in to save money.
