The hotel is much nicer on the inside, don't be put off by the appearance of the exterior.

Rooms were comfortable and clean, lovely shower and plenty of hot water. Dining room a bit of a fiasco, found tables were reserved for certain guests. Plenty of selection of buffet style food but the nice food soon ran out!

The evening meal was much better when it was altered from waiter service to self selection, on our first evening we were served pasta with gravy! All drinks have to be purchased with the evening meal-even water.

No entertainment at all at the begining of May.

The hotel looks like an eye sore but once you are inside it is ok. the rooms were basic and clean but dated. The view from the balcony was beautiful and the staff were all very nice. we stayed room only and would reccomend it, there are so many places to eat out nearby and it is much cheaper than at home, plus the hotel food did not look too good. the hotel has a fantastic location for exploring and evrything you could need is within walkikng distance. the pool area is spacious but the pebble beach is just over the road and has a lovely atmosphere.

We were disappointed when we first saw the hotel, it was a grim example of dull, grey and green architecture, with ten floors, set in an area of bright white and terra-cotta two-storey properties. However, inside it was much brighter and had clearly been renovated in the last couple of years or so.

We stayed on a B&B basis. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable with all mod cons except an internet connection. Bathroom was excellent and had a bath! as well as a shower facility. Twin beds were comfortable, linen changed twice a week. Rooms cleaned daily. The whole hotel was spotless and was run very efficiently. The staff were pleasant, helpful and there were no communication problems. Safety deposit boxes were free and so was the room air conditioning.

The pool is sea-water, very clean, with children's pool, although the all-concrete-slab setting is uninspiring. Plenty of seats and beds, free. The hotel has a private shingle beach with sunbeds (
