We have just returned from a 10 night holiday in the Apollon, the rooms were spotless the scenery stunning 30m from the beach. All of the staff were very friendly and more than helpful.
The top floor rooms were up 54 steps so not for the less mobile but worth the pain for the view over the bay. Breakfast in the hotel was continental buffet style and loads of it, an evening meal was 12 euros for 3 courses and was excellent. We couldn't fault it in any way and would recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet break.
The rooms have air conditioning (6 euros a night) a small fridge, TV (mainly Greek)and a hairdryer but no kettle or cups.

The Hotel only had bad reviews on other sites so we arrived with trepidation. I wonder now if the reviews were about the same place. The hotel was excellent and although we were told by the staff that the rooms were cleaned 5 times a week ours was cleaned every day we were there. Absolutely fantastic views from the balconies BUT if you have difficulty coping with stairs then do ask for a lower floor room. I just about managed to get to the top everyday but it was a struggle and there is no lift.
Breakfast was very basic buffet, but that is the Greek way, and evening meals in the restaurant were excellent.
I have said that I would stay here again, and I would certainly have no qualms recommending the hotel - I just have less confidence that I would return to Corfu.

The hotel lies opposite the lovely sand/shingle beach. The water is fantastic for snorkelling, there are caves to explore and lots of fish and coral to see. The hotel staff were super friendly, it is a family run hotel with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The food was excellent, always 3 or 4 choices available.It is the only hotel in the bay and offers clean comfortable accomodation. There was a fridge in the room and the views were amazing,no pool but a beach across the road! Ideal for a quiet, escape from it all holiday. Boat trips available from the resort and bus that takes you to the capital.
