spent 2 weeks in july . we had 2 apartments one in the complex and one behide the supermarket and there is some diffrence the ones on the complex been better kept , the staff make your stay they go out there way to help you , frida is what you make of it but i recomand it to any one

I stayed in The frida apartments with 6 friends in July of last year and they were not what i had expected and i most certainly wont be returning.The rooms we stayed in were dreadful the low levels of hygiene was disgraceful with he walls sheets and floor filthy andlack of a shower curtain and air conditioning not included.The rooms We stayed in were off the complex above a supermarket and were very unsafe as there was not even a footpath.Staff were friendly enough entertainment was ok nothing special.Would not recommend this place to anyone especially families as it is full of young adults

The accomodation is extremely basic. However the holiday rep told us this was the way all accomodation is on crete so dont be expecting too much! You definitely get used to the basic accomodation. The apartments get swept and bins emptied once a day. You get fresh towels every 3 or 4 days and the bed linen only gets changed once a week. The apartments are located in Piskopiano which is up a steep hill from Hersonissos. There are restaurants around Piskopiano but I have to say none of them were fantastic. There arent many bars in the area but plenty of noise. I wouldnt reccomend this resort for families or couples. There are people drinking in the apartments until about 1 or 2 am in the morning and then it gets rowdy and noisy again at about 6am when they are coming home. I didnt sleep a full night through there in the 2 weeks we were there. If you are a group of 18 - 20 year olds though I do reccomend the apartments. The pool area is nice with plenty of sun beds.

My wife and I stayed here for the last week of July.
The hotel is situated about 15 mins from Hersonissos so you have the best of both worlds , if you want a mad night out hop in a taxi (
