We stayed for one week, the beds were made daily and fresh towels and sheets after 3 days. The floors were not cleaned the whole time we stayed. Basic rooms but serviceable (washing and sleeping) breakfast very basic but ok. Would have been a lot better if they provided an evening restaurant.

Location could not be better, but was a long walk to the town for a meal every day. Road is dangerous no footpath. staff appeared helpful but they refused to play Greek music, we had asked them and the tour operators. They insisted on playing English music, which was far too loud and went on until midnight.

We went to Greece to listen to their music not our din. The entertainment was very minimal. This was our 8th visit to the island and we were very disappointed. Sorry but we will not be returning to this hotel. However the on site rep was very helpful.

This hotel was excellent. The standard of cleanliness was exceptional. The hotel staff were very friendly and always had a warm welcome for guests. Our room was very comfortable with a small verandah/balcony equipped with a table and chairs.

There are no fridges or kettles in the rooms, but there was no objection to us taking our own kettle for our early morning cuppa.

We had a continental breakfast at the hotel every morning and the food available was cereals, Greek yoghurt with honey, toast, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, cake, orange juice, tea, coffee and apples. You could order a cooked breakfast for 3 Euro. Because we went out of season there was not much entertainment, but we were not there to be entertained in the hotel, we were there to explore Kefalonia.

The lady in reception - Rhonina, is originally from South Africa and therefore speaks English, and was always happy to give tips and advice about Sami - a real help. We would happily stay at the Hotel Pericles again.

Hotel is in great location...surrounded by hills with a view to sea. Sami town is a short walk from the hotel.

The hotel pool is lovely, small pool for kids. staff at the pericles are very welcoming.

On arriving in sami, kefelonia 1st impressions were ok, we unpacked and I set off to super market for some water down a main road.

It took about 20 minutes one way, also if on road at night need a torch. Their is another way to harbour ask rep for details. The only problem with this hotel was no fridges in rooms.

So couldn't keep water cold in room. The only way to have cold water was to buy it from bar at 2 Euros not bad for 2 litres, or is it supermarket sells it for 2.60 euros for 6 bottles of 2 lites.

Hotel very nice marbel floors, lounge area, and karoke night not to missed. The pools were clean and cool. Bar snacks by pool ok, apart from tomatoe sauce jars chained to pole. an odd smile wouln't go a miss from time to time. Breakfast and evening meals brilliant.

The hotel was nice, food great, enjoyed hotel alot. Wouldn' come back to hotel because we try somewhere different each year.

Staff very polite and well mannered. Sami harbour didn't feel the people were that friendly until you came to pay.sad that people can't be nicer without a hidden agenda.

This is probably the largest hotel in Sami, it was pleasant and clean.

The staff were for the most part cheerful and accomodating.

I thought the pools were excellent as they accomodated for children by having a shallow pool - rare in Greece.

However I did find poolside prices for food and drink expensive. The breakfast was very good value being a eat as much as you like buffet, and the evening meals which we paid extra for on a couple of occasions were just as great value and delicious.

The hotel bar/entertainment closed at midnight. We had one quiznight and two Karaoke nights - not enough in my opinion!

The hotel was located on the main road into Sami, and one took great risk of being run over if you walked down into Sami (good 20 min walk) or on your return. No pavements and narrow roads.

We stayed at the Hotel Periclies near the resort of Sami the first week in June, the Hotel is ideally situated roughly in the centre of Kefalonia, so is handy for visiting all areas of the island by car, with not too much time spent travelling.

The Hotel is clean and is typical of a Greek family run holiday places.

The Staff were very polite and helpful, the rooms were very clean and most had a wonderful view of either the hills surrounding or the Bay of SAMI.

The breakfasts were restricted but ample and the evening meal was basic but sufficient. The Hotel has a Karaoke on a friday night as well as games etc.The pool area is very clean with two pools and a small snack bar serving drinks and toasties etc.

A general overview is that it is an ideal Hotel for all with a nice friendly atmosphere, not 5 star but 3 would be a fair assessment.

This was my first stay in Kefalonia.

The hotel was extremely clean and tidy and very well run. Cleaners changed bedding/towels daily and staff were extremely friendly.

The pool area was set a little off the main accommodation site (approx 50 metres) but the views were magnificent and so was the pool and pool bar.

Rooms were spacious and well maintained allowing a comfortable holiday.

The hotel isn't too far from the harbour of Sami and this is a hotel I would highly recommend to those wanting to visit Sami

Breakfast limited in comparison with other Greek hotels we have stayed.

The rooms were cleaned every third day when we were provided with clean towels and sheets.

The furniture in the hotel needs upgrading, I have seen better sofas and chairs going to the rubbish tip. They were most uncomfortable with horrible stretch covers over. The beds were also extremely uncomfortable, everyone had an aching back.

The hotel needs refurbishing it is looking very tired and tatty.

It was a fair walk into Sami and the road was quite dangerous in the dark (no pavements and several road lights were out along the way). One lady fell into the ditch because an oncoming car was too close and she broke a bone in her foot and had cuts and bruises.

Hotel staff very friendly.

Entertainment could be better.
