When we arrived in the hotel the reception area looked really nice. Check in was straight foward.
We had two rooms which both were disgusting. The awful smell when we opened the room door nearly knocked us out the rooms were dirty the furniture was old and worn and the bathroom well the least said about that the better. As we were told the hotel was nearly full we decided not to be moved as we did not want to be split up so we went across to the shop over the road and bought cleaning products and cleaned the room ourselves which is not what you go on hoiday to do. I must say we did get clean towels and the bedding was changed although it was worn.
Some of the staff were friendly and helpful but one member of the reception staff was very rude so much so she made my 11 year old daughter cry and when I spoke to her about it she was not in the least bit bothered, also snackbar staff very scary!!
The food and drinks were fine just what we expected for all inclusive with plenty of choice in the main restaurant although in the snackbar not much choice it was pizza and chips every day.
The pool area was ok but if you want a bed round the pool area be prepared to get up about 4am, but there is plenty of grass area and if you cann't get a bed buy a cheap air bed and use that. Be warned the pool is deep in most of the main pool adults cann't even reach the bottom.
We did not bother with the entertainment as it was not our thing but other people seemed to enjoy it.
After reading other people's reports on this hotel I do think its luck of the draw as to what room you get and how clean it is I think we were unlucky. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Don't bother going all inclusive, the food was rubbish. Same thing everyday nothing that we like apart from bolagnaise and the ice cream. There was nothing for children the only place they would probably eat is the snack bar near pool which had cold pizza and chips! We ended up having to pay out and eat over the road where meals were around 5 euros.
The hotel was clean. Chambermaids would come round everyday but no clean towels were given to us the whole 7 days we were there! We had a double and single bed with only one pillow each which was rock solid!
Not that we wanted to watch much TV but there was only two English channels which was new and sports but you couldn't watch as it crackled. The rest were German channels.
The entertainment was awful apart from if you like Butlins stle. Very loud and just for the kids. The queue to the bar would go out the door as only two bar staff on serving.
Hotel is a 5 min drive from the airport but you don't really notice the noise of planes.

This hotel was excellent it had everything you needed for a perfect famley holiday.
I was a bit frightened about going when I read the reports but we had a fantastic holiday. We went self catering room was clean and had what you needed we ate mostly in hotel restaraunt at night this was very good it was buffet style you can go up as many times as you want for 10 euros plenty choice.
Staff very friendly,the only thing that I would complain about would be night time entertainment it was rubbish but apart from this I would definitely go again and would very highly recommend it.

We stayed in a family room, it was clean,beds made daily and towel change daily.
The view was amazing,you could see Turkey from our balcony.
It was not to noisy like previous reviews,just what you would expect on a family on holiday. Entertainment was brill,my two children loved it and still know all the words and dance moves to the mini disco.
Location was ok,if you want to go into Rhodes the bus is just outside hotel and takes about 35 mins,but well worth the visit the locals are so friendly.(ouzo all round).
I would come back with my family as the hotel staff were very helpfull and just so relaxed.

Me and my partner visited this hotel last year and found it so pleasant we went back in Oct 2005 and will be going back in Oct 2006.
Clean rooms excellent view from balcony, kind staff and a relaxed atmosphere is what I can say about this hotel.
The only one thing we found poor about the hotel was the quality of the evening entertainment OK if you are a child but not much fun when you are a adult!
Apart from that I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a value for money holiday.

I couldn't wait to get back and post my views after all the bad reviews I had read. I went for one week with my fiance, we are both only 23 but we found it a very relaxing holiday (just what we needed!).
The hotel was very clean, the room was cleaned, beds made and towels changed everyday.
I found the food to be ok, but if you go with a fussy eater like I did then it becomes a problem, but theres always something they can eat.
The hotel staff were excellent, we had a good greeting when we got there, the entertainment staff work very hard throughout the day and again at night. The bar staff in the evening were brillant very friendly and entertaining.
My only problem with the hotel was it got noisey when people were going to bed or the ones getting up early!
I really don't know know why there was bad reviews about the hotel it had everything you needed to have a relaxing time and there was plenty of drinks flowing!

What can I say rubbish from the day we got there till we came home. When arrived was given key and left to our own devices wasn't told it made everything work in room. Had to be up every morning at 4.30am to get a sunbed then found out people were putting their towels on the sunbeds before they went to bed.
Room was awful should only have 2 beds in it but had squeezed another one in it could hardly move. Had nowhere to put my two boys clothes so they lived out of suitcases for two weeks. Also never had sheets changed for ten days had to go to my rep then was only changed once before we came home.
One day the cleaning staff left only one towel for four of us when I went and asked for three more so we could all cound have a shower was told to go back later.
The food was awful either pork or chicken every lunch and dinner time and it wasn't cooked properly, that's why my husband lost 2 days of holiday as he was in bed with sickness and the other. For the rest of the holiday he live on soup and bread and better.
The pool was ok if you were tall a bit pongey and very slippery and only one ladder and no lifeguards.
Location wasn't brilliant about an hour on the bus to Rhodes town.
Hotel staff weren't brilliant.
Entertainment was awful either a quiz night or bingo or the animation team making idiots of themselves.
If I were you don't go we wanted to come home in the first week.

I could not wait to post this report as some of the bad reviews that I read really worried me,I even considered cancelling.Well I am so glad that I didn't.
It was my first trip as a mum alone with two boys 16 and 11 we shared a room which was clean and perfectly adequate everythig worked although beds are very hard. We did not sleep much though because the kids made the most of everything, the lovely pools the sea ;pool tables table tennis etc.
Yes the location is quiet but there are bars shops car hire all close by.It is easy to visit Rhodes by bus, taxis are cheap and prices clearly advertised.The staff were friendly and hard working,the entertainment team especially made us feel included but there was no pressure to join in Not like a holiday camp.
The aquarobics for ladies was especially fun even for an oldie like me!The food was plentiful but kids menu could be more varied!
The hotel has posted a notice to forbid reserving sunbeds before 7am which should help.
I would definately go again so have a great time and dont worry.

Hotel was brilliant! My children loved it. Would recommend to any family looking for 2 weeks of sun and fun.
Hotel was clean - never saw a coakroach once! Only reason I haven't given 5 for cleanliness was because cleaner didn't wash her hands after cleaning the tables before she gave my children their ice-creams.
Hotel food was repetive just like any other all inclusive hotels. Good varied choice.
Right on the beach - lovely to sit and have a drink while watching the sea. There was a nice breeze so it was great for my 1 year old! Next to several shops and bars/restaurants - you must try Billy's Place as we spent several nights there!
Hotel staff had to put up with a lot as a group of teenagers were there and were cheeky, insolent and caused more work - especialy to the cleaners! They were friendly to my children and their friends.
Entertainment was a slightly poor as room was smokey - but really you need to make your own entertainment.
Only dissapointment would be the lack of saftey around the pool and beach activities. Around the pool people were jumping of the bridge, playing pile-on on top of a lilo and giving each other piggy-backs and then jumping in the pool. Also tiles needed grouting as someone sprained there leg (only half the hotels fault).
I would visit this hotel again and again as it was a fantastic holiday. Don't listen to the bad reports as they might stop you going on this great holiday!

We stayed self catering for 1 week at Doreta Beach in Tholos, 1 week was faaaar too long!!!
We shared our apartment with cockroaches. (We heard from another Thomson rep that this hotel has been shut down 3 times due to cockroaches)
The apartment itself was ok, very basic, only good thing was it looked onto the sea. Also looked onto sunbathers who lay on grass right in front of our veranda.
Aircraft noise was loud but we got used to it.
Went to entertainment night and thought I must be in Butlins, Agadooo.
People pay a lot of money to go here and personally I think they think they should like it, please, please, please let us British start complaining and get the standards up, that
