If you want to live in Goa. Candolim is the location its ok.
Good pool and helpful staff at the arrival, but lazy staff at the resturant.
Good rooms and perfect cleaning staff. Very very helpful staff at the pool.
We didnt go to any of the entertainments at the nights, but it seemd to be popular.

Good clean basic hotel. All we needed for our holiday.
Had a problem not getting towels for four or five days out of our fortnight but a phone call to reception got them delivered each day.
Never ate food there, cheaper and more variety outside. Prazeres have a fair amount of Russian visitors to the hotel which can be rowdy.
Basic but good.

As all the staff have changed since 2005 the place is not the same. Music till 3-45am yes 3-45am Jan and and Rob were sensible to stay away. Never again.
Head of Security was drunk on night at 1-35am am was trying to assault and fight a 66 year old Male Pensioner, he was stopped by Salous and other Staff, not that it stopped him hitting other staff 3 to 4 times a week." 2 Russian were attacked by 50 -to 60 staff as they escaped to the reception and tried to phone the police, security nutter refused to allow them, they had to hide in the safe room as the 'Mad Security Man' threatened to kill them or shoot them, he then smashed all the glass in the door to get at them. The rep moved all of the Russians on mass. There was a big Big fight one night a Lady slapped the owner for being abusive and using foul sexist language to her. Her rep came at 3-30am and moved her and husband out there and then.
The food is as bad as before I tried twice was ill as 6 other couples. The noise with windows closed pillow over head was to much. If one can eat their food what do they have at home? Even the east Europeans called it 'Filth'I know no one who would go back there. One women who writes Glowing reports is a friend of the owner and after 7 years met by chance there, so chill you have been rumbled.
The noise can be heard 200 meters away and she said it was quite! NEVER EVER AGAIN EVEN ON A FREEBIE! Taxi Drivers are the worst in Goa Rip of and Dirty Cabs Smell of drink no wonder every one walks up the road for a cab. Worst in the world this mob. Tourist minster said they must put the taxi meters back in the taxi's some chance as I was in one we got stopped on the way to Panjim he gave the Cop 100 rups and off we went.

Dec 2007 we will remember as the worst Holiday ever.
Noise and Fighting and that was just the staff.
Never ever again.
What we saw you would not print here.
The noise can be heard form 200 meters away at 1-30am.
Breakfast is so bad we wonder what some UK people eat at home. Eat there twice and Bad belly for days, did not get this from out side restaurants.
Saw a women have a glass full of beer thrown at her and the repercussions went on till 3-30am, That was by the Owner.
We were disgusted at the 'Slapping'of house boys by a security guard, but that was OK as he was in charge. The fight one night against 2 Russians by 50 or more staff is not something we have ever seen in the world.
This is documented by the Reps at the Hotel.
Never ever again. It was a good place a few years ago but how times have changed.
A 65 year old pensioner was threatened by the Guard and the bar staff stopped him.
The couple from Liverpool were soaked in beer by the owner, and moved by the Rep at 3-45am that morning. This is all over the Net so look before you say it never happened.
Very scary place after midnight. How can any one say it is quite is beyond ones Normal behaviour.
This is the worst lot of rip off Taxi drivers, but for 3, and is well know in Candolim and Calangute.
Don't waste ones money you have been warned.

We have stayed at Prazers 3 times now. We love it and cant wait to go back in 2007.
The staff are so friendly they go out of their way to help you .
Food is average currys excellent. If you want a good shack Joystons on Calangute Beach food is good and so cheap.

We stayed in Prazeres in November 2006. The hotel is a definite 2* but we knew that in advance that it would be basic so our expectations were correctly set. The communal areas are kept clean, the pool guy in particular keeps the pool area very clean and is always on hand with towels. Our room was basic but the cleanliness was generally ok, the room was a little tired and could of done with slightly more drawer space.
The staff were friendly and helpful but remember this is India so things often take a while to get sorted out. There was always something happening in the bar from Bingo to karaoke. I would definitely not want a room near the bar as it's open late and can be a little noisy, luckily ours overlooked the fiends so all well.
The real problem we had was with the food, the breakfast was inedible (I've never had rock hard toast before then!), my partner also had a serious case of food poisoning from an omelette, resulting in a doctors visit. We also had stomach problems after eating in the restaurant one evening.
Generally a good but very basic hotel, just avoid the food - I'm glad we weren't all inclusive :)

Complex was only 2* & it showed, saying that I didn't expect much else.
Staff were excellent, very helpful.
On the whole the whole complex was run quite well, we all used the beauty parlour which was fantastic. The important details were fine, cleanliness was good. Only problem we didn't have air con we should have asked to upgrade.
Location was ok taxis available next door aplenty & very cheap.

Couldn't fault it really for cleanliness, room boys fab, cleaned every day if needed, towels changed daily sheets changed every other day.
All communal areas clean and tidy only the pool looked as if it needed cleaning a bit murky, but pool attendant always there removing leaves etc.
Only had breakfast there 3 times but I don't usually eat breaky anyway.
The hotel staff were good always there when you needed them always with a smile.
Entertainment was ok, only 2 nights a week while we were there and finished around midnight, Sundays and Tuesdays could be a bit noisy if you are in the rooms above the bar.
Overall I would use the hotel again, good value for money.

We travelled this month to this hotel. In the brochure it said quiet and relaxing hotel.It was not. It was very noisy at night and particularly when they had live entertainment.
After the entertainment stopped at 1am or 2am they continued to play loud music. I watched as bar staff carried drunk holidaymakers home.
The hotel was lovely and clean and the pool area was great but I can not recommend this hotel purely because of the noise.

This hotel was only availability and had heard it was ok.
Overall very nice and friendly place but room 199 in new block was dreadful. Had not been given chance to dry out. Walls were covered in mould and mildew and bedding and clothing was wet. To be fair, hotel management moved us as soon as possible, paid for laundering, medical check up and gave complimentary bottle of port.
Would stay again if favourite hotels not available but would request room in advance.
Sixth time in Goa and first time had cause to complain!
