The resort of Salina bay does not really exist. There is a tiny rocky cove opposite the hotel which we used as the beach, which was fine as we were aware of the lack of beaches in Malta.
To use Bugibba as the resort, we basically thought it was tacky and not much to do.
I beleive there are a few good restaurants and bars here though if you ever venture away from the AI hotel.

Not much of a beach and the water had sewerage in it.

For someone like me who loves exploring, walking and getting out and about under their own steam, Bugibba is fine. If you want somewhere where you can walk from the hotel to a million other types of entertainment, try St Julian's. Or a different country altogether. I would not be surprised, though, if Bugibba becomes more commercialised in the next few years.

The local resort was too far away to walk into from the hotel Coastline and there is no local beach here. So if you like the beach then this hotel and resort is not for you. Although we caught a yellow bus to Melliha Bay, one of the three beach resorts on the island, which took about 20mins. The beach here is sandy with good facilities, but it is not a large beach so I can imagne it getting very busy in the summer.
There is a small selection of shops and cafes etc, not too sure about the night life as we did not venture in at night. There is a nice promanade to walk along.

What can I say about this resort Salina Bay, an up and coming building site and nothing at all there and nothing to do to keep anybody entertained

I had an excellent vacation at the coastline hotel. Everybody was very friendly and I already miss Malta and the hotel and the hotel staff!
I come back next year!

The resort is fine entertainment very good at the hotel in the summer, although there is a small beach inlet and the hotel is on the coast road there is not a large beach area nearby
