Just returned from a week at the Hotel Miami and can say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We had a premier room which was very nice - tea/coffee making facilities, flat screen TV, slippers, robes, complimentary bottle of wine and fruit and even a play station.

Food was excellent with plenty of choice, as were the drinks.

Excellent location on the sea front. Usual rush for sunbeds in a morning, unusually gates to pool area locked until 8.30 so a queue formed at 8.30 but at least there was no one getting up at 6 in the morning to put their towels out!! Pool was nice but not particually big. Beware of depth if you have children. One pool was 1.2m the other 1.7m.

Entertainment was the usual Med stuff - magic shows parrots, dancers, singers, mini disco etc. The kids loved the entertainment.

Nice stroll of an evening into the town centre.

Glad we were all inclusive as some guests on half board were paying 3 Euros a pint.

I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

We have just got back from a 10 night stay in the Miami and we loved it! This was our 3rd visit to Es Cana and we just love the resort, its so family orientated, clean and has a lovely atmosphere. We have stayed previously in the Ereso and Caribe, both excellent hotels but I think the Miami beats them slightly. We would have gone back tot he Caribe but wanted all inclusive because of the exchange rate and we hardly spent anything there. The hotel is set on the outskirts of Es Cana but is directly on the beach so beautiful views if you get a good room. We booked our holiday independently as it was far cheaper than a package and we got a taxi from the airport for 35 euros as its only 1/2 hour away. The hotel itself is very nice, spotlessly clean and the rooms are a good size with plenty of wardrobe space, we had a double room with a balcony and it was spacious enough for our family of four, we found the Caribe very small last year so it was a bonus. Rooms are cleaned daily and sheets/towels changed also. We were all inclusive and rather than get a wrist strap you actually get a card with your family photo on which needs to be presented at drinks/meal times. There is a great selection of drinks available and they are nice, I have found some 'locally produced' copies in the past to taste awful but they werent at Miami, they even have a copy of Baileys which was tasty! If however, you want a drink that isnt in the AI you actually get a discount on the full price e.g a bottle of Bud was 2.50euros but AI customers only paid 1.50 so I thought that was really good too. The bar staff left alot to be desired and they werent fast so it took forever to get a drink and they werent very friendly but I wont let that ruin the holiday, they seemed to favour the Germans over the english. The food was really nice too, I am a fussy eater and I didnt find a problem at anytime, a great salad bar, lots of fresh fruit, usually fish and meat with different types of potatoes on most nights rather than just chips everytime and usually pasta which kept my kids happy. Breakfast was Ok, I didnt try the hot food but they had cereals and usually fresh cooked pancakes and churros, again kept the kids happy!
There is the usual sunbed run on a morning, I have to admit I am one of them but only because I like a parasol and they are actually fixed to the ground The pool area is cramped and sometimes its difficult to get to the bar area cos the beds are pushed together but it cant be helped, there is a shaded area and a small veranda overlooking the beach which is lovely as well as the area around the pool. The main pool is split into three, a shallow kiddies pool, a pool which is about 1.2m and the main pool which is very deep, there was no point in this pool that I could touch the ground I think the lowest point was 1.7m so you need to be careful. The kids club is great, its called the Panda Club and is open 10-12 & 3-5 I think, my daughter loved it, she is 4 and made great friends with Pascal, they go on trips to the beach and have pool games as well as the soft play area in the Panda club, one of the best I have come across. The entertainment team were great I thought, the usual water polo, rifle shooting, archery etc through the day plus canoeing, football etc. They did a few shows on a night and they were really good, I have never stayed at a hotel where its been so busy with guests on an evening as alot tend to wander off but not here, its hard to get a seat after 9pm, they have outside entertainment which is really good too.
All in all this is a great hotel, one of the best we have stayed in and I will definitely return.

Just returned from 2 weeks at Hotel Miami! Had an enjoyable holiday, hotel very clean - room cleaned daily and clean towels also provided on a daily basis. Food very good with plenty of choice, catering for all tastes! Drinks in the resturant and bar very expensive! visited bar next to hotel which was much cheaper! Hotel location brilliant, beachfront, however take care as on day 2 of my holiday I was dozing on my sunbed by the pool and heard a strange noise. A man was trying to hook my bag from under my sunbed with a stick. He was stood on the beach and was leaning through the railings!! Apparently a lady had her bag pinch the same way a few days prior to this with all her money and passport in. Entertainment fair, some good out side acts. Our children enjoyed the hotel run childrens club - had a fab time with Pascal and David who did a fantastic job of entertaining them! Overall a great holiday!!

miami hotel es cana ibiza. booked half board with travel agent and later found out we could up grade to all inclusive after contacting hotel direct from u.k,we were told it would be 23 euros each per day and child would be free as only two years old.when we paid at hotel total for up grading was 402 euros which included 50 euros for child who was meant to be free and 28 euros service charge.apart from that we had a great time at this hotel rooms cleaned every day, hotel food great and added in chinese and mexican themed night.hotel was right on beach so cool breeze. hotel staff could not be more helpful apart bar manager at pool bar who was very ignorant unless you were spanish, and needed pulled aside to no we are paying his wages.entertainment was excellent from 10 in morning with canoing, rifle shooting and water polo for whoever wanted to take part,at night entertainment started at eight o clock till twelve. we would go to this hotel again but not all inclusive

went all inc; as the weak pound makes everything exspensive. we paid for a sea view which was well worth it as the views were super. I would say 75% of the rooms have some sort of a sea view. The rooms were clean and the beds comfey. If you have two children you could be tight on space. The food was good, with the bacon and eggs were cooked in front of you.The pool area is tight for space but there was no mad rush for chairs, anyway we spent more time on the beach, especialy the one 5min walking of cala nova, which has the best surf on ibiza and the sands are golden. We went out on the night as the entertainment is soley for the kids. i think they should consider the more mature clientle. overall this is one of the best 3* hotels you will find and would recommend.

I myself and my family enjoyed the hotel miami tremendously. We went for 7 nights and never had any problems at all concerning this hotel.Everday we had maid service and could not fault any of the staff concerning the cleanliness of this hotel . This hotel is very very clean and I would recommend it to anyone. The room was well maintained and the staff were very hard working although always had a smile to say hello. The food at the hotel was fantastic(especially the fish ), it was never cold and was always well presented. It wasn't just english food as the hotel is very cosmopolitan. I would definately return to this hotel due to the cleanliness and the food and location .
