Es Cana is a lovely clean resort and beach is good. Visit Charlie's pub at night, they have different shows on every night and are very good. I would visit this resort again

Lovely resort. Not too quiet not too busy. Visisted a few bars including Charlies (please replace the high tables and chairs with normal ones!!). Apache's very good value for money. Mar y Vent excellent if you want a snack or full meal. Quite a few small shops selling drinks, sweets, souvenirs etc. Hippy Market on a Wednesday was interesting to visit but not something I would want to repeat. The items for sale were not to my taste, and the overpowering smell from incence burners was nauseous!!!! Pretty little harbour with boats leaving for Sta Eularia, Formentera and there was a Glass Bottom boat to experience. Pedaloes and banana rides on the clean beach. Really good bus service to Sta Eularia E1.35 each way going on the hour and half hour the return journey was on the quarter to and quarter past the hour. From Sta Eularia to Ibiza Town was E1.75 each way with buses going every hour and half hour (same coming back). All in all a lovely resort for middle aged to older couples and families. I don't think it is somewhere the young clubbers would enjoy.

The resort is nice, you can walk to Cala Nova along a nice walkway which has plenty of seats for a rest and nice sea views. couple of beach bars a bit futher on over a few rocky bits.
we walked the coastal path to Cala Llenya which is a lovely beach and fairly easy underfoot.
Also walked the costal path to Santa Eulalia which was lovely it's about 4miles and i would suggest sturdy footwear not flip flops.
water taxi to Santa Eulalia 10euros return. bus is just under 2 euros one way.
Ibiza old town is lovely and the views over the harbour are awesome.Beware that the cathedral is closed on monday.
The resort has many bars Charlie's is very good and the acts are brilliant Brightstuff are excellent singers and diamond class is a fab show, the boy band groups are hit and miss. Popeye's is another good bar for entertainment Harry James will get you laughing...and he also does a duo another night, this was hilarious.
All in all we had a great week in Ibiza, and would recommend it.

Es Cana is a quaint sort of Village you either love or hate it, it is best describe as old fashioned, the local poeple are very friendly, it suited us.

Es Cana has plenty of shops, bars, and cafe's which are all relatively cheap and all very clean. The boat trips are also good, we went over to Formentera for the day leaving Es Cana at 10am ant returning until 7pm - only 28 euros and well worth it.
The Wednesday Hippy Market is well worth a visit.
The bus service from the main square down to Santa Eulalia is only 1.35 euro and well worht the trip - Santa Eulalia is a lovely place and the marina is a great place for a stroll.

very clean beach you get seaweed but cleaned everyday as for the resort you can not fault it good bars on the beach bahia pins is a good one but best bar in es cana without a doubt is the charamia playa just round the corner from hotel miami

We found Es Cana too small for our liking but nevertheless we enjoyed our time there, the beach was of a high standard with pedalos available for hire. The hippy market is worth a visit on a Wednesday and the bus service is efficient.

we found the beach ok: entertainment it was last week of season so we can not coment. the beach was not the best could have been cleaned up more, we would go back and to the hotel hawii its great hotel

Resort was okay given that we were there at the end of the season. Entertainment was tired.
Beach was cleanish - I wish smokers would all take their butts with them. I take a bottle of water with me and put my stubs in it and the put it in the bin - not difficult.
